Terriyaki Sauce
Ingredient lists
· Mirin (Japanese sweet rice wine)
· Cornstarch
· Soy sauce
· Rice vinegar
· Sesame oil
· White sugar
· Garlic
· Ginger
· Red pepper flakes
· Black pepper
Processing steps
1. Weighing of ingredients.
2. Mincing, slicing and peeling of garlic and ginger
3. Grounding of black pepper.
4. Bring mirin to a boil.
5. Reduce heat and simmer the mirin at 80 Degree Celsius for 10 minutes
6. Add cornstarch, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, minced garlic, minced ginger, red pepper flakes, and grounded black pepper.
7. Stir the mixture for 3 minutes.
8. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
9. Store in a tightly sealed container.
10. Pass end product through metal detector.
11. Store end product in refrigerator at 4 degree Celsius.
