I did an experiment !

I have heard from my friend that barbequing ham could become Ba kua  ~   
                 
   Do you believe ???
 So I went Fairprice and bought ham!
 

     After starting the fire (portable BBQ pit ), I start barbequing!

   
        Fire Fire Fire !!! 

 

After 5 minutes, my ham shrunk…


After 10 minutes my ham was brunt! SaD !!!

Never mind, now my 2nd attempt . . .
I think previously the heat from the BBQ pit was too strong, so my father told me that I need to keep flipping my ham to prevent it from burning.
        Final Product !!!
 
   









I have tasted the barbequed ham.. It does not taste like Ba kua ! But slightly look like Ba kua ..? ?
It is salty instead, the ham is a bit thin to be ba kua.. 
Oh Lina, no BBQ chicken for you, maybe next time I should try Vincent's recipe ...

Awesome! You actually tried doing it! I'm going to try it with my toaster next time. Too bad we can't buy equipments that can allow us to try making lots of different foods.
